About our Branch
The Global Research and Consulting (GRC) Group is an internationally-oriented educational non-profit with an expansive network of students from universities all over the world. Our mission is to drive global social impact change and empower students to become responsible future leaders, and we have completed various projects with past clients, including UNESCO, World Bank, Wikipedia, Oxfam, WWF, and many more.
Founded in 2024 by Zayan Meah and Joey Chalabi, the Global Research and Consulting Group branch at the University of Virginia (GRC at UVA) aligns with our national chapter’s values and is committed to creating value and meaningful global change for socially-oriented organizations. We seek the latest information in macroeconomic trends, cultural context, industry best practices, and more to provide our clients with strategic advisory, data analytics, technology solutions, and research services.
GRC at UVA was started with the philosophy of attracting talented, ambitious students who are passionate about social impact and giving them the necessary tools and training to make a positive impact around the world. Our consultants are the top students from the University of Virginia, trained specifically to understand how to tackle nonprofits' and social impact organizations' biggest challenges and create solutions that shape long-term futures. It is only when we invest in the personal growth and development of our members can we then deliver high-quality solutions for our clients.
