How We Started

Our History

GRC began in Spring 2016 when a group of students who have a common passion for global research and consulting came together. All five founding members are in the Wharton School of Business, and four out of the five are in dual degree programs with the College of Arts and Sciences or the Engineering School. All founding members have internship or volunteer experience abroad in countries such as China, France, Saudi Arabia, India, Singapore, and Tunisia. The club aims to integrate the knowledge students gain from their studies at Wharton and Penn with global research and consulting projects. Penn GRC hopes to nurture a generation of globally-minded student leaders who truly care for the world community.
